Bob Peltier is president and chief executive officer of Edina Realty Home Services, the Midwest’s largest residential real estate firm serving Minnesota, western Wisconsin and Fargo, N.D. As president and CEO of Edina Realty Home Services, he is also part of the management team for HomeServices of America, Edina Realty Home Services’ parent company, strategizing with managers of other leading real estate companies throughout the United States.
Leadership As president and CEO of Edina Realty Home Services, Peltier sets the strategy and directs operations for 65 offices and more than 2,500 REALTORS® throughout Minnesota, western Wisconsin and Fargo, N.D. He also oversees all areas of the Edina Realty Home Services family of companies, including Edina Realty Title, Edina Realty Mortgage and Edina Realty Relocation. Under Peltier’s leadership, Edina Realty is the number one seller of homes in its markets and continues to grow by attracting top REALTORS® and building on its strong brand and full service offerings.

Background Peltier began his real estate career in 1978, quickly becoming a top-producing REALTOR® with Edina Realty. In addition, he established Edina Realty’s presence in Wisconsin, opening the company’s office in Hudson, Wisc. and managing that office for five years. During his tenure, that office had the highest average production per agent in the company.
Peltier is an expert in key industry areas including new construction and development, technology, general market trends and, most notably, mergers and acquisitions. In just two years, he helped Edina Realty acquire 17 real estate firms, significantly expanding its presence in key regional markets, such as western Wisconsin. Peltier was named regional manager in 1993, V.P. and general sales manager in 2000, president in 2002 and finally, president and CEO in 2009.
Peltier studied business law at the University of Minnesota.
Professional/Community Involvement Peltier is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the St. Paul Area Board of REALTORS® and is a board member of the Minnesota Association of REALTORS®. He served for five years on the Regional Multiple Listing Service Committee including two years as chairman, and is currently the NAR federal coordinator for the REALTORS® Legislative Network. |
